Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The REPO auction of Bangladesh Bank for commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Wednesday, officials said.
Eleven bids of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 71.8945 billion were received. Of those, 11 bids amounting total of BDT 34.6857 billion were accepted.
Moreover, 13 primary dealers of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 30.2984 billion were provided as liquidity support facility. The rate of interest both of REPO and liquidity support facility was 5.50 percent per annum.
