Results of Wednesday’s REPO auction

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The REPO auction of Bangladesh Bank for commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Wednesday, officials said.

Twenty two bids of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 232.8946 billion were received. Of those, 22 bids amounting total of BDT 40.1015 billion were accepted.

Moreover, 14 primary dealers of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 53.35 billion were provided as Liquidity Support Facility. The rate of interest both of Repo and Liquidity Support Facility was 5.50 percent per annum.
