Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The REPO auction of Bangladesh Bank for commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Wednesday, officials said.
Sixteen bids of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 207.5864 billion were received. Of those, 16 bids amounting total of BDT 37.2253 billion were accepted.
Moreover, 13 primary dealers of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 40.5525 billion were provided as Liquidity Support Facility. The rate of interest both of REPO and Liquidity Support Facility was 6.00 percent per annum.
