Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The REPO auction of Bangladesh Bank for commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Wednesday, officials said.
Sixteen bids of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 310.5168 billion were received. Of those, all bids amounting total of BDT 20.0080 billion were accepted. Moreover, 15 primary dealers of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 66.5463 billion were provided as Liquidity Support Facility. The rate of interest both of REPO and Liquidity Support Facility was 6.25 percent per annum.
