Results of Wednesday’s REPO auction

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The REPO auction of Bangladesh Bank for commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Wednesday, officials said.

Seven bids of 1-day tenor amounting tot al of BDT 10.9931 billion were received. Of those, a total of BDT 27.483 billion were accepted.

Moreover, 14 primary dealers were provided total of BDT 36.2132 billion as liquidity support facility of 1-day tenor. The rate of interest of REPO and liquidity support facility was 5.50 percent per annum.
