Results on Tuesday’s REPO auction

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The REPO auction of Bangladesh Bank for commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Tuesday, officials said.

Seventeen bids of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 108.5153 billion were received. Of those, 17 bids amounting total of BDT.26.3338 billion were accepted.

Moreover, 14 primary dealers of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 3918.21 billion were provided as liquidity support facility. The rate of interest of REPO and liquidity support facility was 5.50 percent per annum.
