Rizvi re-elected DSE president

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Shakil Rizvi was re-elected President of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the country’s premier bourses, on Wednesday.

Ahsanul Islam Titu, chairman of Muna Financial Consultant and Services Limited, and Mohammad Shahjahan, managing director of Jahan Securities were elected senior vice-president and vice-president respectively.

The three were elected for a one-year term.

Managing director (MD) of Shakil Rizvi Stock Limited, Shakil replaced Rakibur Rahman, who had been in the helm since February 28, 2009, through the March 27 elections in 2010.
