Road accident kills 16 in Sirajganj

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- At least 16 people were killed and 20 others wounded when a passengers bus collided with a truck in the country’s northern district Sirajganj district on Thursday.

The fatal accident took place as the bus collided with the truck coming from the opposite leaving 13 people killed on the spot and two others died on way to hospital, a local police officer confirmed.

The injured were taken to Sirajganj Sadar Hospital, Bogra Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital and different clinics, according to reports.
