Road accident kills four Bangladeshis in Saudi Arabia

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - Four Bangladeshis were killed in a road accident in Saudi Arabia on Thursday.
The accident took place Thursday evening (Bangladesh time) at Al Qahtani, 850 kilometers from Jeddah when a vehicle carrying the victims crashed as its driver tried to save a camel crossing the highway, a foreign ministry official reportedly said in Dhaka on Friday.
The victims were identified as Abu Sayeed, son of Abdul Jabbar, Kamruzzaman, son of Abdul Munshi and Noor Mohammad, son of Abdus Sobhan – hailing from Chakoria in Cox's Bazar and Hasan from Dhaka.
The bodies are kept at the mortuary at Abha Hospital in Saudi Arabia and the relatives of the victims have been informed about it, the official said, adding that Bangladesh consulate in Jeddah has been contacting their relatives and the employers on sending the bodies back home and compensation.
