Road accident kills seven in Bangladesh

Noakhali, Bangladesh (BBN) – Seven people, including six of a family, were killed in a road accident in the country’s southeastern Noakhali district on Sunday, police said.

The accident occurred at around 4.30 am (local time) when a Noakhali-bound private car from Dhaka fell into a roadside pond on Laksam-Sonaimuri road as its driver lost control over the steering, killing all the passengers and the driver on the spot.

An official of Sonaimuri Police Station said they handed over the bodies to relatives of the deceased.
