Road crashes kill 20 in Bangladesh on Eid day

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- At least 20 people were killed in separate road accidents at Noakhali, Narayanganj, Bhola, Faridpur and Chittagong districts of Bangladesh on Tuesday, the Eid day.
Six people, including three of a family, died after a bus plunged into a roadside canal near the Joyag College in Sonaimuri upazila(sub-district) of Noakhali on Tuesday afternoon.
In Narayanganj, four people were killed as a car fell in a ditch beside Dhaka-Narayanganj Highway at Jalkuri in Narayanganj.
In Bhola, a bus veered off the Bhola-Charfasson road leaving four passengers killed and 15 injured.
Four passengers were killed when a microbus hit a tree at Maligram in Chandra Union of Bhanga upazila in Faridpur.
Two motorbike riders were killed at Shitalpur Bagulabazar of Chittagong's Shitakunda upazila as a bus hit them from behind.
