Romania-Bangladesh jointly invest over $20 million in AEPZ

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- M/s Universal Menswear Limited, a Romania-Bangladesh Company, will set up a garment industry in the Adamjee Export Processing Zone.
The company will invest 20.11 million US dollar in setting up their unit and will manufacture garments item. 
It will also create employment opportunity for 5089 Bangladeshi nationals.
An agreement to this effect was signed between the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority and M/s Universal in BEPZA Complex in the capital Dhaka on Tuesday.
Mohammad Moyjuddin Ahmed, Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA and Sharif Zahir, Managing director of M/s Universal, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations, officials said.
