Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Two listed companies — Ratanpur Steels Re-rolling Mills Ltd (RSRM) and Barakatullah Electro Dynamics Ltd (BEDL) declared 25 percent and 17 percent dividend for the ended on June 30, 2014, officials said on Wednesday.
RSRM: The board of directors has recommended 5.0 percent cash dividend and 20 percent stock dividend for the year ended on June 30, 2014, said an office disclosure on Wednesday.
The AGM will be held on November 30 at 11am at the Hall Room, Bhatiary Golf and Country Club, P.O. BMA, Bhatiary, Chittagong. Record date: 06.11.2014.
The company has also reported net profit after tax of BDT 154.96 million, EPS of BDT 5.24, NAV per share of BDT 58.93 and NOCFPS of BDT 2.89 for the year ended on June 30, 2014 as against BDT 166.74 million, BDT 5.63, BDT 53.69 and BDT (6.54) respectively for the year ended on June 30, 2013.
BEDL: The board of directors of Barakatullah Electro Dynamics Ltd (BEDL) has recommended 17 percent stock dividend for the year ended on June 30, 2014.
The Board has also decided to change company’s name from ‘Barakatullah Electro Dynamics Limited’ to ‘Baraka Power Limited’ subject to be approved by the shareholders at its AGM.
The AGM will be held on December 11 at 12 noon at the Hotel Star Pacific, Darga Gate, Sylhet-3100. Record date: 06.11.2014.
The company has also reported net profit after tax of BDT 249.36 million, EPS of BDT 1.90, NAV per share of BDT 19.45 and NOCFPS of BDT (6.61) for the year ended on June 30, 2014 as against BDT 187.51 million, BDT 1.43, BDT 19.43 and BDT 1.23 respectively for the year ended on June 30, 2013.
There will be no price limit on the trading of the shares of these two companies today (Wednesday) following their corporate declaration.
