Rajshahi, Bangladesh (BBN)- The first year classes of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) begins on Sunday, officials said.
The class will start at 8:00 am and the students were requested to check their respective class routine from the notice board with own initiative.
If any student fails to attend class within two weeks his or her admission will be cancelled, they added.
Meanwhile, an orientation was held in the auditorium for the admitted students on rules and regulations and course-curriculum of the university on Saturday.
Addressing as the chief guest Vice-chancellor Professor Sirajul Karim Chowdhury said the existing session jam could be reduced from now on as the first year classes started ahead this session in comparison to the previous years.
The new students were also requested to arrange their residential and meal with their own initiative as the university is unable to provide the facilities due to accommodation constraint.
