Rajshahi, Bangladesh (BBN)- The fourth convocation of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) will be held on March 2 this year.
RUET Vice-chancellor Professor Sirajul Karim Chowdhury revealed this at a press conference held at his office here on Monday.
He said some 1,500 graduates will take part in the convocation.
Agriculture Minister Matia Chowdhury will attend the convocation on behalf of the Chancellor.
Mr. Chowdhury also said that graduates, who obtained graduation, post-graduation, M. Phil and PhD degrees from 2003 to 2006 will be allowed to take part in the convocation.
He said the date for registration would be announced soon through circulars in newspapers and website.
Interested graduates shall have to pay BDT 2,500 as registration fee. Every graduate will be allowed to bring one guest by paying BDT 1,500 as registration fee.
