Rupee up 2 paise at 65.40 in pre-close trade

Mumbai, India (BBN) – The rupee went through ups and downs before trading 2 paise higher at 65.40 against the dollar today.

The rupee was trading at 65.40 at about 4.50 pm. The domestic currency opened at 65.36 and moved between 65.54 and 65.29 in intra-day trade, The Hindu Business Line.

The rupee had closed at 65.42 on Monday.
