S Alam recommends 15pc cash dividend

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-S Alam Clod Rolled Steels recommended 15 per cent cash dividend, said an office disclosure on Sunday.
The board of directors of S Alam proposed the dividend for the year ended on September 30 this year.
The final approval will come during the general annual meeting scheduled to be held on March 19 at 11:00am at Chittagong Club in Chittagong.
The record date is on January 28.
The company has also reported consolidated net profit after tax of BDT 120.70 million, consolidated earnings per share (EPS) of BDT 1.23, consolidated net asset value (NAV) per share of BDT 19.86 and consolidated net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) of BDT 19.47 for the year ended on September 30, 2015 as against BDT 95.43 million, BDT 0.98, BDT 20.12 and BDT 6.47 respectively for the year ended on September 30, 2014.
The company also disclosed un-audited first quarter (Q1) earnings for October - December, 2015 period.
As per Q1 financial disclosure, consolidated EPS for was BDT 0.22 as against BDT 0.39 for October - December, 2014.
There will be no price limit on the trading of the shares of the company today following its corporate declaration.
