SCB global head of SME arrives in Bangladesh Wednesday

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Som Subroto, Global Head of SME, Banking of the Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) will arrive in the capital Dhaka on Wednesday for a two day official visit.

This will be his first official visit to Bangladesh. During his stay in Dhaka, he is expected to meet the senior government officials, clients, stakeholders and staff of the bank.

Mr. Som is responsible for SME Business across 30 countries in Asia, Africa and Middle East. Som has been with Standard Chartered Bank since March, 1994 in various roles; Consumer Banking, Risk Management, Technology and Operations Management across the Group (Singapore), Middle East and South Asia region (Dubai) and South Korea.
