Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Standard Chartered Bank (SCB), Bangladesh and Sanofi Aventis Bangladesh Limited have signed the Bangladesh Electronic Fund Transfer Network (BEFTN) agreement in the capital recently.
Under the deal, Sanofi will execute payments across the country through the BEFTN using Straight2Bank, Standard Chartered’s electronic payment platform.
Mr. Tanvir Haider Chaudhury, Head of Transaction Banking; Mr. Faisal Rahman, Head of Global Corporates and Mr. Mueed Shafiq, Head of Global Corporate Sales, Bangladesh of Standard Chartered Bank and Muhammad Tajdiqul Islam, Director Finance & Administration, Sanofi Aventis were also present among other senior officials at the signing ceremony.
