SCBA polls end Thursday peacefully

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The two-day staggered voting to elect a 14-member executive committee of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) for the term 2011-12 ended peacefully on Thursday.

Of the 2,317 eligible voters, 2,058 cast their ballots over the two days to elect the new leadership of the apex court bar association, election sub-committee members said after the voting closed at 5 pm on the day.
