Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Chairman of Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Ziaul Haque Khondker has said the stock market is moving with positive sentiments in recent days, but investors should always consider investing in fundamentally good stocks.

"Although volatility has increased, overall market trend is healthy but general investors should invest on their own decision after analyzing all the facts and figures of a company," the SEC chief said in an investors' awareness program held in Sylhet on Thursday, arranged by Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE).

He said CSE has taken a pragmatic initiative for the general investors based in Sylhet through organizing the investors' awareness program which will create an opportunity to learn about the stock market.

SEC Members Mansur Alam and Mohammed Yasin Ali and economist Professor Abu Ahmed was the main speaker of the program.
