SEC to probe LankaBangla's 'unusual trading'

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has formed a two-member enquiry committee to investigate into 'certain unusual trading' of listed securities by LankaBangla Securities Limited, officials said.
SEC Director Mahbubur Rahman and Deputy Director Ohidul Islam have been assigned with the task of probing into unusual trading of some listed securities by LankaBangla Securities, and submit report within next three working days.
On Wednesday a joint monitoring team of the SEC and the DSE inspected the LankaBangla Securities and received allegations on forced sell of shares from the investors.
