Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Bangladesh with ICC China and CCPIT will jointly organise a two-day seminar on Bangladesh-China trade finance and banks role in Kunming of China.
The seminal which will begin from August 21 is a high level seminar outside of the country for the first time ever.
The seminar will discuss the ICC Rules & Tools as well as the requirements of the central banks, country specific laws, new provisions and how the changes will impact trade between Bangladesh and China, said a press statement of the ICCB released on Wednesday.
The participants of the seminar are expected to deliver on the issues that the banks and businesses should adhere to in order to avoid risks in non-payment or lengthy legal complications in settlements of dues, the statement added.
A total of senior level 44 bankers from 18 different banks of Bangladesh including its central bank will participate at the seminar.
Moreover, sixty bankers of different Chinese banks will also attend the seminar.
Mahbubur Rahman, the president of the ICC Bangladesh, will inaugurate the seminar as chief guest.
