Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – A seminar on ‘‘Life of Mu’min at the light of the Holy Quran’’ and Iftar Mahfil was held on Friday at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka organized by Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL).
Presided over by Prof. Abu Nasser Muhammdad Abduz Zaher, Chairman of the Bank, Rezaul Karim Hira, Minister for Land addressed courtesy speech, Ali Saleh Bamaga, Religious Attache, Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia, Engr. Md. Eskander Ali Khan, Chariman, Executive Committee of the Bank and Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Managing Director of the Bank Discussed in the Program, a IBBL press statement said.
Earlier the seminar Presided Over by Professor Dr. Muhammad Mustafizur Rahman, former Vice Chancellor of Islamic University, the key notepaper was presented by Dr. Hasan Mohammad Moinuddin, Member, Shari`ah Supervisory Committee of the Bank.
The seminar was addressed by Shah Abdul Hannan, former Secretary and Mawlana Shah Wali Ullah, Khatib, Sobhanbag Jame Mosque. Present and former Directors, Sponsors, Members of Shari‘ah Council and Top Executives of the Bank along with Industrialists, Businessmen, Diplomats & Executives of International organizations, Senior Officials of Government and non-Government institutions, Journalists and intellectuals, Islamic Thinkers, Professionals and dignitaries of different levels of the society were present in the function.
