Sensex advances 147 points; Nifty above 8,300

New Delhi, India (BBN)-The Sensex rose by 147 points while the NSE Nifty regained the 8,300-mark in early trade on Monday.
Better-than-expected earnings by telecom major Bharti Airtel influenced the sentiment, brokers said, reports the PTI.
The 30-share index, which gained 183.15 points in the previous session, surged by 147.33 points, or 0.53 per cent, to 27,618.14 points.
All the sectoral indices led by metals, IT and auto were trading in the positive zone with gains up to 0.85 per cent.
The Nifty reclaimed the 8,300-mark by rising 40.85 points, or 0.49 per cent, to 8,336.30.
