Agartala, India (BBN) – At least two people were killed and more than 50 others injured in a series of bomb blasts in the country’s north-east state of Tripura’s capital Agartala on Wednesday evening, police confirmed.

But local media reported that at least five were feared dead and over 70 injured when six blasts struck crowded markets and an inter-city bus-stand in the city.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility.
