Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Top executives of seven private commercial banks (PCBs) of Bangladesh participated in a two-day program organized by Microsoft Bangladesh held at the Microsoft Technology Experience Centre at Microsoft’s Asia Pacific Regional Headquarters in Singapore recently.

The participants include Managing Directors and Chief Executive Officers of NCC Bank, Uttara Bank, Islami Bank, Trust Bank, Prime Bank, IFIC Bank and Jamuna Bank, a press statement said.

Under the theme of ‘Microsoft in the Enterprise’, the event focused on Microsoft’s vision for the banking industry including World Class Customer Interactions and Innovation in Banking, Envisioning the New World of Work, Core Banking System, Customer Relationship Management and other relevant topics.

In the event, the visiting executives have experienced latest innovation of Microsoft technologies through Microsoft Technology Centre Guided Tour and Flexible Workspace Office Tour in the technology center.

Microsoft team demonstrated how banks and financial services organisations can improve the customer interaction and engagement across the channels and business lines.

They have demonstrated the impact of Microsoft platform across the enterprise specifically focusing on how to search, find and access information securely from anywhere on any device.

The team also demonstrated how to increase efficiency and gain operational insights through collaboration, communication and business intelligence tools.

They have also paid a visit to one of the leading Singaporean banks DBS to get practical experience how Microsoft technologies are being used in the bank’s day-to-day business.
