Seven promoted to senior secretary

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The government has promoted seven secretaries to senior secretaries.

The public administration ministry issued a gazette notification in this connection on Wednesday.

Those who got the promotion are Commerce Secretary Mahbub Ahmed, Land Secretary Md Shafiul Alam, Planning Commission member Hedayetullah Al Mamun, Energy and Mineral Resources Division Secretary Md Mozammel Haque Khan, Prime Minister’s Office Secretary Md Abul Kalam Azad, Local Government Division Secretary Manzur Hossain and Public Administration Secretary Dr Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury.

However, the promoted bureaucrats will remain in their current assignments, the notification added.
