Shahbagh protesters place six-point demand to Speaker

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Shahbagh protesters have submitted a memorandum to Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Abdul Hamid to press home their six-point demand including death penalty for war criminals including Jamaat leader Abdul Quader Mollah.
A five-member delegation of Bloggers and Online Activist Network went to the parliament and submitted the memorandum to the speaker around 3:30pm on Sunday. 
The demands include amending the International Crimes (Tribunals) Act, 1973, banning Jamaat-e-Islami and its student wing Islami Chhatra Shibir, and all their financial institutions including Islami Bank, Ibn Sina, Focus and Retina coaching centres, the Daily Star, a local newspaper, reported. 
Their other demand is trying political parties and organizations that helped the war criminals.
