Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The Shahbagh youths will hold a rally in the capital’s commercial hub Motijheel area Wednesday afternoon to press home their demand for the death penalty to war criminals.
The rally, which is scheduled to begin at 3:00pm at Motijheel intersection, is expected to turn into a human sea as common people converge in every rally of the youths since the demonstration began on February 5.
The Shahbagh intersection, popularly known as Projonmo Chattar, like previous days is vibrating with revolutionary slogans and songs as the demonstration stepped into 23rd consecutive day on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the mass signature campaign, which began on February 22 in demand of death penalty to war criminals, resumed on Wednesday.
The 12-hour-long campaign resumes at 10:00am everyday. The campaign will continue till March 7.
