Mumbai, India (BBN)-As per a picture of the wedding card of Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput, which is going viral on Twitter, the duo will get married in Gurgaon on July 7. The wedding will take place at Oberoi Hotel in Gurgaon.
The Sangeet and Mehendi ceremonies will be held on July 6, reports the Hindustan Times.
As the countdown to the big, fat Delhi wedding starts, several are left speculating about what will the couple wear, where will they go for honeymoon and much more.
Earlier, rumours claimed that designer Masaba Gupta would dress up the Shahid and his fiancée Mira Rajput for the big day, but now we can confirm that Kunal Rawal, a Mumbai-based fashion designer, has designed a bandhgala achkan for Shahid. Rawal will also be styling the father of the groom, actor Pankaj Kapur, confirmed his manager.
The bride, Mira Rajput, will wear an outfit by Kolkata-based designer, Anamika Khanna. It is also reported that the two will wear outfits in matching colours.
Meanwhile, Shahid cancelled his bachelor bash in Greece as he is busy with shoots. He may not even be able to take time out for their honeymoon, says a source. He is currently shooting for his television debut as a judge for reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and is also working on Udta Punjab, which stars his ex-flame Kareena Kapoor Khan.
