Shares trading of three companies halted

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has suspended trading of the shares of Anlima Yarn and Alltex Industries to complete investigation of unusual price hike of their shares.

The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) also suspended the trading of the shares of Gulf Foods for unusual price hike of its shares.

The SEC suspended the share trading of the two companies at 11:33am and the share trading of Gulf Foods was suspended by the DSE at 1:06pm on Monday, the New Age, a local newspaper, reported on Tuesday.
