Shippers’ council gets new vice chairman, director

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The board of directors of Shippers’ Council of Bangladesh (SCB) has unanimously elected Sanjit Kumar Das, director of the SCB and Abu Zafar Azad, member of the SCB, vice chairman and director of the Council for the remaining period of the term 2010-2011.

The board meeting was held in the city on Saturday. Mr Das is the proprietor of Eastern Trades, while Mr Azad is the proprietor of Everwin Chemicals, Dhaka.
