Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-All the four maritime ports of Bangladesh have been asked to hoist cautionary signal No. 3 as a deep convection is taking place over the north Bay.
The ports are: Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra, said a special bulletin of Bangladesh Met office.
Under the influence of well marked low over west central Bay and adjoining area, squally weather may affect north Bay, adjoining coastal area of Bangladesh and the maritime ports.
All fishing boats and trawlers over the north Bay have been advised to remain close to the coast and proceed with caution until further notice, added the bulletin.
They were asked not to venture into the deep sea.
