Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- A mob beat six robbers to death Wednesday night after they tried to commit a robbery near Chhatirchar Bazar at Sripur under Gazipur district, police said.
A gang of 12 robbers went to Shishu Palli road near Chhatirchar Bazar by a microbus for committing robbery at about 9:00pm, Nazmul Haque Bhuiyan, officer-in-charge of Sripur Police Station reportedly said.
Police arrested four other members of the gang and recovered a gun, three bullets, six machetes and four knives at the scene and seized the microbus.
