Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- A six-member delegation of Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA) on Sunday left the capital for Russia on a five-day tour to attract Russian investors in Bangladesh.
Second vice- president of BKMEA Mohammad Hatem is leading the delegation to Russia, a BKMEA press statement said.
M Mansur Ahmed, AH Aslam Sani, Manjurul Haque, Shafikuzzaman, Nasiruddin Nasim and Sarwat Ahmed are the other members of the delegation.
Russia imported knitwear worth US$ 2.5 billion in 2010. The delegation aimed at further expansion of the Russian market.
