Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – More than 100 employees of state-owned Sonali Bank Limited (SBL) has staged demonstration at its head office in Dhaka to press home their three-point demand including payment of incentive bonus ahead of the Eid.
After nearly a one-hour demonstration, President of Sonali Bank Employees Union Jamal Uddin on Wednesday demanded immediate payment of an incentive bonus to all the officials and employees of the banks, who have been working in different branches of the bank across the country.
He also demanded that the SBL authorities regularize jobs of around 1100 temporary employees and ensure loan facilities to those who were regularized last year.
