Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-Square Pharma dominated the week’s top turnover chart on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) last week that ended Thursday.
A total of 2.59 million shares worth BDT 684.66 million were changed hands last week.
Daily average turnover for the company was BDT 136.93 million.
The week’s closing price of each Square Pharma share was BDT 263.8, registering an increase of 1.66 percent over the previous week.
Of the total shares – 54.21 percent held by sponsor-directors, 10.34 percent by institutional investors, according to DSE website.
Foreign investors held 15.05 percent shares while 20.4 percent share held by public, the website information said.
The company listed in the Dhaka bourse – DSE in 1995. The company is belonging to the Pharmaceuticals & Chemicals sector under the category of ‘A’.
The company disbursed 30 percent cash dividend and 15 percent stock dividend for the year ended on March 31, 2014.
The company also reported NAV of BDT 22,277.52 million, EPS of BDT 8.36 and NOCFPS of BDT 12.90 for the year ended on March 31, 2014.
The week’s other turnover leaders include MJL BD and shares worth BDT 558.88 million were changed hands followed by ACI BDT 528.62 million, Lafarge Surma Cement BDT 521.28 million and SPCL BDT 504.38 million.
The shares of BSCCL also came to the list as shares worth BDT 396.04 million were changed hands while UCBL BDT 377.59 million, IFAD Autos BDT 325.46 million, IDLC Finance BDT 325.24 million and GP worth BDT 301.24 million changed hands during the week.
