Hobart, Australia (BBN) – Sri Lanka defeated Scotland by 148 runs in an easy win in their chase of 364 in the 35th match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 in Hobart on Wednesday.
Scotland lost their all wickets in 43.1 overs  in their Pool A match in Zew Zealand.
Sri Lanka removed Scottish batsmen Coetzer for zero, MacLeon for 11, Machan for 19, Mommsen for 60, Coleman for 70, Richie for 29, Leask for 2, Cross for 7, Taylor for 3 and Davey for 4.
Earlier, Sri Lanka set the target losing nine wickets riding on the tons of Dilshan and Sanga.
In the first innings of the match, Scotland removed Lahiru for 4, Dilshan for 104, Sanga for 124, DPMD for 2, Mathews for 51, Kusal for 24, Thisara for 7, Prasanna for 3 and Malinga for 1.
Prior to beginning of the match, Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first.
