London (BBN)-Standard Chartered is one of Britain’s biggest banks. But more than three quarters of its earnings actually come from Asia.

It will release it first-half results later on Wednesday.

The bank has already warned profits may fall by as much as 20 percent from a year earlier.

At the same time, there’s been speculation both chief executive Peter Sands and chairman Sir John Peace are under pressure from some investors to stand down.
