Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– State Minister for Power and Energy Mohammad Enamul Haque Saturday night left Dhaka for London to attend the Power Summit 2011, organised by the Commonwealth Business Council.
The state minister will preside over a session at the two-day conference to begin on March 1 in London, a Power and Energy Ministry press statement said.
The conference will focus on the role of the public and private sector investment in power generation.
Additional Secretary of the Power Division Tapash Kumar Roy, Member of the Power Development Board (PDB) Masum Al Biruni and Director (planning) Mizanur Rahman were included in the Bangladesh delegation, led by the state minister, to the conference.
