Stock trading to start 1 hour later from Sunday

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Trading at stock exchanges will start one hour later at 11 am (local time) from Sunday as the bourse authorities adjusted their office timing with the government’s rescheduled office timing.

As per the new timing, the trading at Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) will continue until 3 pm instead of 2 pm while at Chittagong Stock Exchange until 3:15 pm, according to a DSE Board decision taken on Saturday.

“We’ve revised the trading timetable in line with our board of directors decision,” a DSE official told BBN in Dhaka, adding that the office timing of the stock exchanges is from 10 am to 6pm.
