Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN): Trading on the bourses open with mixed trend in early hour on Wednesday, maintain previous session’s sluggish turnover trend.
The benchmark general index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DGEN stands at 4,123 points, gaining 9.97 points or 0.24 per cent within first 30 minutes of trading.
Turnover value stood at only BDT 60 million till the report was filed at about 11am.
Of the issues traded, 58 advanced, 19 declined and 29 remained unchanged.
RN Spinning Mills topped the turnover chart with shares worth BDT 31 million changing hands.
The Selective Categories Index of Chittagong Stock Exchange, however, lost 4.52 points to stand at 7,976.37 points after first 30 minutes of trading.
Earlier, on Tuesday, DGEN closed 1.55 points higher with 5-year low turnover value on the premier bourse.
