Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN): Share prices at the country’s both bourses — Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – witnessed upward trend in early hours of trading on Thursday.
The DSE general index, DGEN gained 11.11 points or 0.26 per cent to reach 4165.20 points at 11am. Of the issues traded till then, 91 advanced, 25 declined and 23 remained unchanged.
Turnover stood at BDT 154.49 million till the report was filed at 11am.
Delta Spinners topped the turnover chart with shares worth BDT 28.33 million changing hands till then.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange key index, CSCX gained by 25.97 points to stand at 8,084.91 points also at 11am. Of the issues traded till then, 23 advanced, 11 declined and 10 remained unchanged.
Earlier on Wednesday DGEN gained 12 points while CSCX was closed 34 points higher.
