Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN): The prices of the most stocks on the bourses continued to rise during the early trading on Thursday, maintaining previous session’s uptrend.
The benchmark General Index, the gauge of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, gained 21.02 points or 0.50 per cent to stands at 4,153.71 points at 11:15am when the report was filed.
Of the issues traded, 141 advanced, 13 declined and 18 remained unchanged.
Turnover on the premier bourse stood at BDT 248.91 million till the report was filed at 11.15am.
United Airways topped the turnover chart with shares worth BDT 56.85 million changing hands till then.
The CSE Selective Category Index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange stands at 8,038.80 points after gaining 31.89 points within first 45 minutes of trading.
On Wednesday, trading at the country’s premier bourse finished at 4,132 points after gaining 19 points.
