Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN): Trading on the country’s two bourses started with a positive mood Sunday, the first trading day of the week, maintaining previous week’s positive trend.
After first hour of trading, the prime index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange stands at 4,139 points, rising 6.41 points or 0.15 per cent.
Turnover value on the premier bourse stood at BDT 270 million till the report was filed at about 11.30am.
Of the issues traded, 82 advanced, 56 and 37 remained unchanged.
United Airways topped the turnover chart with shares worth BDT 58 million changed hands.
Earlier on Thursday, the DGEN closed 10 points higher.
