Strike called in N’ganj for Sunday

Narayangaj, Bangladesh (BBN) – Narayanganj lawyers has called a daylong strike in the district for Sunday protesting the killing of Chandan Sarkar, a senior lawyer at Narayanganj District Judge's Court.
 

The strike was call from a rally held at the auditorium of old Bar Library on Thursday.   
 

Sarkar, Narayanganj City Corporation Ward No-2 councillor Nazrul Islam and five other were abducted from the court area of the city on April 27.
 

The bodies of Sarkar and six others were found floating in the Shitalakkhya river on Wednesday and Thursday.
