Nelson, New Zealand (BBN)-Tamim Iqbal made history Thursday after being the second Bangladeshi cricketer to score 4,000 ODI runs mileston.
Earlier on February 18, during the seventh ICC World Cup match between Bangladesh vs Afghanistan, Shakib Al-Hasan, the ace all-rounder, touched the glory.
Tamim made the milestone while playing the 27th match of the ICC Cricket World Cup against Scotland at Saxton Oval in Nelson.
Cricket fans across the world greeted the Bangladeshi cricketer through different social media including Facebook and Twitter after the feat.  
Tamim also scored a half century during the match which was going on when this report was filed around 9:30am (BST).
Tamim remains unbeaten till the time.
