TATA ACE pickup van launched in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Nitol Motors Ltd, country’s sole distributor of TATA Motors, has launched an environment-friendly CNG-run TATA ACE pickup, first of its kind in Bangladesh.

If once filled with CNG, the pickup with fitted CNG kit and 2 CNG cylinders having a capacity of 70 litres, can run about 200 kilometers, officials of Nitol Motors said at the launching ceremony held at National Press Club in Dhaka on Wednesday.

TATA ACE pickup is fitted with 275 dedicated MPFI CNG 702cc engine conforming to Euro III standard emission norms, the officials said, adding that the pickup, with a load body of 7.3 feet in length and a covered van option, is ideally suitable for intra-city applications like courier parcels and several other products, according to news reports.

Nitol offers a two-year free service guarantee and warranty for one year. Six dedicated service facilities have already been set up in Dhaka, according to the officials.
