Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has extended the deadline for submitting income tax returns till October 31.
The extension came following demands from leading business chambers, according to an NBR statement released on Monday.
Country’s trade promotion bodies, including the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), demanded the extension by a month.
Over the recent years, the government extended the deadline for submitting tax returns almost every year.
